Field Service Specialist

Primary Role Focus

Perform well installations ensuring they are run correctly and safely as outlined in the Packers Plus standards and procedures.  Perform maintenance and logistics to existing inventory and customer equipment in the U.A.E. and Saudi Arabia. 

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with Packers Plus and customers’ Health & Safety policies & procedures
  • Plan and facilitate meetings to reinforce safety procedures and protocols with all personnel involved for job installation
  • Upon arrival at client’s location, coordinate with Company Representative to verify project timings, expectations and identify factors, actual or potential, that may impact service
  • Verify shipments to client locations against pre-job package and perform QA & QC on all tools, parts and equipment
  • Complete ongoing updates to field reports, MOC, FTR and customer’s satisfaction reports
  • Facilitate meetings to train and inform crews on Packers Plus procedures, standards and operational plans
  • Coach and assist personnel with installations to ensure operational excellence is delivered
  • Identify safety concerns as they occur and resolve promptly
  • Collaborate with client and crews to ensure project is performing correctly
  • Document and immediately inform Operations Manager/Coordinator as quality or technical problems arise
  • Build relationships and enhance customer intimacy by ensuring a superior level of client satisfaction is achieved and maintained
  • Report and resolve performance issues promptly through operations and the Packers Plus support network  
  • Provide support and assistance in the facility as and when requested
  • Complete other tasks as requested by the Operations Coordinator/Regional Operations Manager
  • Participate in the training when offered
  • Clear, concise and complete documentation, approval and filing of reports, logs and other records

 

Position Requirements

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 3 years’ previous experience in a field and shop environment
  • Strong competency in down-hole hydraulics
  • Strong understanding of completions and open-hole conditions
  • Strong understanding of Anti-Bribery Laws/FCPA
  • Strong Mathematical Skills And Technical Knowledge
  • Proficiency With Microsoft Office Products Including Word, Excel And Outlook
  • High Level of fluency in Arabic preferred
  • Fluency in English is required

Education and Training

  • High School Diploma – preferred

Physical, Business and Safety Requirements

  • First Aid, CPR, H2S, WHIMIS and Extended periods of driving
  • Ongoing visits to field locations in all weather conditions
  • 24/7 on-call schedule
  • Ensure Health passport is current (vaccinations are up to date)
  • Extensive travel is required
  • Partake in Packers Plus journey management program (InfoPath forms)
