Senior Technical Sales

Primary Role Focus

Provide support to senior international sales


Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Daily communication with existing and potential clients.
  • Independently host technical presentations.
  • Research and review sales opportunities in different field locations
  • Support market strategies process
  • With guidance from managers, oversee costing & pricing used on  quotations
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager on International Field Service Specialist personnel requirements to perform work where & when required
  • Support budget & sales forecasts when requested to submit for approval to management
  • Provide sales support on international sales as well as job installations being performed where required
  • Visit active rig sites and frac sites of current clients to provide client support, and obtain client feedback to ensure product quality, service quality and future requirements are met
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders in local markets - current accounts and a network of potential clients -through ongoing meetings, promotional events and social interaction
  • Gather competitor intelligence on other completion tool companies as well as cemented liner and stimulation companies doing work in international markets including their working capacity, pricing trends, job performance and key management changes


Experience and Skills

  • 7 – 10 years sales experience in oil and gas
  • Experience in working with Saudi Aramco, and has established business relationships with decision makers in the company
  • Experience in the International Market
  • Knowledge of down hole completion tools/ Open Hole/ Stimulation (frac / acid)


Minimum Knowledge

  • Education in engineering or engineering technology
