Regional Sales Manager

Primary Role Focus

Lead, coordinate and execute regional sales strategies. This position reports to the Regional General Manager - Canada.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develops an annual sales plan for the region complete with strategies, tactics and targets
  • Leads, mentors and holds the sales team accountable for achieving and surpassing sales targets
  • Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology
  • Develop and owns sales forecast for the region
  • Drives new product introduction to region; works with Product Line Management and Marketing
  • Identifies strategic customer relationship, works with sales team to map out PPES to client relationship
  • Builds internal relationships and leverages them to ensure that sales bids are technically accurate, on time, operationally viable and profitable
  • Supervise the preparation, issuance and delivery of sales materials, exhibits and promotional programs
  • Execute corporate brand and brand awareness processes continually throughout the organization, both internally and externally
  • Research and develops strategies which identify and build upon new sales opportunities
  • Develop and manage regional sales budget
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs and results
  • Report monthly on overall sales results, activities and major client developments
  • Direct management and development of the sales team

Experience and Skills

  • Significant experience in Oil & Gas (15+ years) with specific experience (8+ years) in completions/tools
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with both technical and operational subject matter experts; internally and externally.
  • Outstanding sales performance history with a significant network of relevant contacts in the regional industry
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Proven track record of effective leadership and team development; minimum of three years

Education and Training

Post-Secondary Degree in Engineering or equivalent Business experience an asset
