District Coordinator

Primary Role Focus

Provides support to the District Manager to ensure compliance with established procedures to support the corporate objective of delivering operational excellence and seamless delivery of services.  

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that inventory levels are sufficient, accounted for and maintained through replacement parts and/or inspection as well as keeping the records for those assets up to date
  • Review all job packets prior to assembly and delivery
  • Prepare work orders, submit to third party vendors and order third party equipment for assembly
  • Oversee the process for assembling systems per QAQC standard
  • Double checking accuracy before mobilizing systems to the field
  • Coordinate all logistics of field operators and tools
  • Develop and review operational procedures
  • Motivate staff to reach targets and build a team environment focused on safety
  • Handle difficult job calls
  • Work in concert with Technical Sales groupto ensure that field level sales and customer service processes are being followed
  • Provide input on new tool design and review
  • Review NCR / FTR reports in collaboration with Well Engineering / Technical Sales group
  • Willingness to be flexible with work hours and available on call 24/7
  • Oversee on the job training for all employees
  • Ensure employees are in compliance with Packers Plus health and safety program
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Position Requirements

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of tool related background
  • Oil Field operations knowledge required
  • Warehouse experience (downhole tool redress experience) is a plus
  • Management experience is a plus
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Strong Communication and technical writing skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook

Education and Training

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Safety, mechanical and/or service training

Physical, Business and Safety Requirements

  • Safety Sensitive
    • Subject to pre-employment medical assessment
    • Subject to pre-employment, post incident, random and reasonable cause drug and alcohol testing
  • Significant use of computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse
  • Sit at a desk for extended periods
