QA Coordinator - Maternity Leave Replacement
Primary Role Focus
To manage the quality document approvals and support the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) departments with respect to the document management systems. This role reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Experience and Skills
• Typing Speed: 50 - 60 WPM with 99% accuracy
• Administrative experience
• Beginner to Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe)
• Oil and Gas experience and/or working within a manufacturing or shop environment an asset
• Knowledge of QA documentation and MTR is an asset
• Experience with ERP or a similar database system is an asset
Education and Training

To manage the quality document approvals and support the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) departments with respect to the document management systems. This role reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage and Maintain the Quality Document mailbox
- Verify and approve QA documentation for the finished goods
- Liaise directly with suppliers or through Vendor Coordinator on the QA documentation issues
- Generate Non-Conformance Report (NCR) for nonconformance’s on the QA documentation
- Assists with managing and maintaining the document library
- Assists with managing and maintaining the Vendor Portal
- Assists with managing and maintaining the Packers Plus Academy (PPA) – QMS Training
- Material Test Reports (MTR) approvals: verification and approval of MTR’s when required
- Assists in creating/editing/managing procedures for relevant departments on PackNET
- Assists with the Internal/External Audit process
- Assists with managing the CIS platform
- Manages QA related requests during the absence of the QA Supervisor
- Ensure compliance with Packers Plus Health and Safety program

Education and Training
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Administrative diploma or certificate is an asset
- Lifting/carrying up to 25lbs
- Subject to post-incident and reasonable-cause drug & alcohol testing
- Extended periods of sitting at a desk and use of a computer, keyboard and mouse
