Primary Role Focus
The HR Generalist, Saudi Arabia is responsible for supporting and executing operational HR functions in Saudi Arabia while assisting with HR related administrative tasks for Kuwait, Oman, and UAE on an ad-hoc basis. This role will help ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, improve HR efficiency, and support daily HR operations.
The position reports to the Human Resources Manager, Dubai and is focused on executing operational HR support.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

HR Operations and Compliance
  • Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and exit procedures in KSA.
  • Support recruitment activities, including pre-screening, reference checks, and interview scheduling.
  • Coordinate with the PRO for Saudi work visas and business sponsorships.
  • Ensure HR documentation, HRIS records, and compliance with Saudi labor laws are up to date.
  • Assist with internal and external HR audits.

Employee Relations and HR Administration
  • Act as a local HR point of contact for employees in KSA.
  • Provide guidance on company policies, employment regulations, and basic HR inquiries.
  • Maintain HR files, employee records, and administrative HR documents.
  • Manage employee leave, absence tracking, and benefits administration in KSA.

Training and Development Administration
  • Support learning and development activities by coordinating training sessions in KSA.
  • Assist with training logistics, scheduling, and tracking employee participation.

Position Requirements

Experience and Skills
  • Five years of HR generalist experience in oil & gas, energy, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience in a multinational environment with exposure to regional HR management.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi labor law and GCC employment regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS/LMS systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Education and Training
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or Psychology.
  • Preferred certifications: CIPD, SHRM, CHRP, or Compensation & Benefits (C&B) specialization.

Physical, Business and Safety Requirements
  • Compliance with Packers Plus Health and Safety Program
  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working with a computer monitor, keyboard, and mouse in an open work environment
